QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
James Bond is a huge franchise with a total of twenty-four productions first publicised in 1962.
Quantum of solace is the twenty-second James Bond film with the actor of Daniel Craig.

We are then shown match on action of a expensive extreme black car which could suggest car racing/chasing conventions. There is flashes of different angles of the car to understand what is happening. The soundtrack is still fairly eerie as its keeping the views engaged. However, the diegetic sound is off the wind passing past the car implying its going at a very fast pace.
Next, we are shown the same mountain and ocean scene at an establishing shot although, the camera is moving into the mountains at a steady speed. This would be a dolly shot.
There is then a close up shot of a bullet belt which suggests gun shooting and fighting scenes which are conventions of thriller films. At this point the soundtrack becomes more sharp and interesting. It implies to the audience that there may be a violent scene including gun shooting and different weapons.
We then get an extreme close up of what I think is Daniel Craig (James Bond). You are able to see his emotions and concentration in his eyes. It builds more suspense and tension as you don't know where they are heading or whats going to happen. The soundtrack also becomes more daring and interesting with use of beat drops to keep the audience engaged and gripped.
There is then match on action of a car chase, you are able to see cars speeding to get away from others and massive aggressive guns which are used violently to kill. There is diegetic sound of cars speeding and engine noises, but also gun shots which are loud and take you attention. You are able to here the bullets smacking against the car and smashing the windows. At this point you loose the soundtrack as you can only hear the cars and bullets. James Bond is dressed very smartly suggesting he's an agent with a high up job. This side angle shows the distress and damages.
We are shows the car chase from many different angles such as long shot, medium shot, close up and canted angles this gives a dramatic effect. The diegetic sound is of cars breaking, cars crashing and bullet shots. The mid shots show the distance between the two cars and the path they are following. Theres a close up shot of James Bond grabbing the gear stick implying he's about to step on the execrator and speed up.
There is then a long shot of a police car crashing and falling of a cliff, this is rather cliché in a thriller film as there is always car chase and death. The diegetic sound is off bangs and crashes which help show the audience the danger and terror. However, to get these sounds they may have had to use to Foley Process and different sound effects to succeed the extreme sounds.
Next, there is a two shot of both cars next to each other. The diegetic sound it of them bashing into each other. The cars show they have been in a car chase as they are smashed and dented. You can still hear all the aggressive, violent gun shots which are bouncing off the cars. We then see a high angle of the 'enemy car' falling off the cliff. It then goes quiet and peaceful as you know the 'enemy' is no longer. There is a massive bang once the car hits the ground but a sigh of relief.
There is then a establishing shot of Siena, Italy it positions the audience to know the setting/ location and where the film will be based or begin.
Finally we see James Bond at a close up opening his boot, we are shown the man in the car at a high angle to show him looking inferior and sympathetic. Bond is wearing a suit showing him looking superior. He is last shown saying "Time to get out" which suggests he's beaten the 'enemy' and is safe to get out.
